At our main cancer unit, we offer rapid access to systemic anti-cancer therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
Most treatment is delivered as an outpatient on our specialist oncology unit. Patients who require in-patient treatment will have their own room with en-suite facilities, television and a telephone, to provide privacy and comfort.
Patients are encouraged to have family or friends accompany them to consultations and their time in the unit as we understand this can often be of great benefit.
We aim to offer flexibility in the provision of care, which can be helpful when trying to fit treatment around your individual circumstances.

Macmillan accreditation since 2016, our Cancer Care Suite was recognised by Macmillan Cancer Support for its high standards of patient care with the award of a Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM).
The MQEM is awarded to cancer care environments that meet a set of standards developed with over 400 patients and other stakeholders, including the Department of Health.
This includes all aspects of the treatment environment and services to patients, including communication, privacy and dignity, and the quality of rooms and food.
